Today's Marauder II is every bit as tough as the Wolfs Dragoons' original design, but carries significantly more firepower than its precursor. The designers chose to retain the the MAD-4A's general weapons configuration, one that has proven devastating over decades. The paired PPCs and medium lasers have been upgraded to extended-range models while the main weapon is now the Dragoons' latest technological "aquisition" - the heavy Gauss rifle.
