| The sixty-ton 
            Lancelot was built in 2581 with three specifications in mind: limited 
            dependence on ammunition or support, enough speed for mobile operation, 
            and sufficient firepower to be a viable combat force. The resulting 
            'Mech, a superior design from a number of standpoints, quickly became
