Tally ho, folks!

Crimson Bricks is a project I started after playing Microsoft's PC-game "Crimson Skies" and enjoying reading the "Wings of justice"-novels by Loren Coleman, Thomas Gressman and Jason Hardy, based on a role playing game released by Fantasy Productions:

"The year is 1937. The United States has shattered under the weight of the Great Depression, regional Prohibition and mounting isolationism. The transcontinental railroad and the budding highway system have become useless as they now cross hostile borders. Commerce and trade leave the ground as air travel—once a national obsession—now becomes a vital lifeline connecting allied countries. Giant zeppelins crisscross the skies, carrying both passengers and cargo. It is a time of gunship diplomacy and airship piracy. It is the age of the fighter pilot and a time of daredevil adventure and sinister intrigue. The planes are faster, the engines are bigger, the guns are more powerful, and the women more beautiful. Welcome to the world of Crimson Skies…"

Sounds cool, doesn't it? However, obviously it is about cool airplanes. Airplanes with a twist though ... If you wish to learn more about Crimson Skies please try the link at the bottom of this page.

So far I've built 2 models. Only two. After I was through with the books I somehow lost interest in this universe, but maybe just temporarily. There are still more books for me to pick up ("Wings of fortune-trilogy") so there's hope to see more models from me one day.
