Many Experts consider the Shadow Cat the best 'Mech in the medium class. It made its first appearance leading the spearhead of Clan attacks on Tukayyid. Due to its low profile, the Shadow Cat is hard to hit. Good armor and a main configuration of mostly energy-based weapons allow this 'Mech to operate independently and far from supply lines. A common role for the Shadow Cat is to serve as a command vehicle, but its flexible weapons loadout, good speed and maneuverability allow for a large variety of other roles as well.
